Changing the Status of a Person

Do you ever find yourself needing a list of only ‘Active’ Candidates or Contacts? Or wanting to exclude people from a search that you’ve previously placed or designated as ‘Do Not Use’?

You can easily find these lists through Top Echelon Recruiting Software’s Search function if you’re consistent in updating the status on People records. Changing a Candidate or Contact’s status allows you to designate them as Active, Inactive, On Assignment, Placed, or Do Not Use.

To update a Person’s status:

  • Navigate to the corresponding Person’ Datasheet
  • Locate the Miscellaneous card and click the pencil icon to inline edit the status field

  • Click to expand the Status drop-down menu
  • Select the appropriate status from the list and click the Save button when complete
