This has been a grueling year for many, if not all, recruiters. Those who have survived the recession have put in long hours and worked hard to stay in business and be successful.
A number of firms have discontinued their Preferred Membership service during the past year, but the majority have survived and continued to thrive. For those—including you, of course, since you’re reading this—I’d like to congratulate you on your tenacity and your success, and also for your commitment as a Member of this Network.
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day, and I know that we all have a lot for which to be thankful, both personally and professionally. On the professional side, I’m thankful that I work for a fine company with great people and that I get to speak with Top Echelon customers, who are among some of the nicest and friendliest people I’ve known.
So on this Thanksgiving Day weekend, I urge you to fully enjoy the holiday. Take a break from the grind and spend time with friends and family. Forget your recruiting desk for just a while and get away to enjoy some time off. After all, we’ll be doing the same.
The Top Echelon Network and Big Biller offices will be closed on Thursday, November 25, and Friday, November 26, in observance of Thanksgiving. The offices will re-open as usual at 8 a.m. on Monday, November 29.
