9 Words That Can Empower Recruiters to be MORE Successful

(Editor’s Note: This is the first of a two-part blog series.)

What is the definition of success?

Ask a group of people, and you will probably get many different answers, most of which will not work.  If they did work, you would see happier, healthier, wealthier, and more well-balanced people in the world.

The best definition of success that I’ve ever heard is the one reached by Earl Nightingale after he conducted 17 years of intensive research.  His definition is as follows:

“Success is the progressive realization of a worthy ideal.”

Those nine words can serve as your compass.  They will be your continuous checkpoint as you go from one win to another.  Four of the nine words contain the secret to the life you deserve:

PROGRESSIVE

REALIZATION
WORTHY
IDEAL

Take time to write down what each of these words mean to you.  Each of these words has an individual meaning that has the potential to transform your life.

You already have everything that is required to live the life you choose.  All that is lacking is the awareness of the abundance that surrounds you.  The changes required to enjoy your ideal life are internal.

If you ask most successful people what tops the list of priorities for a happy, successful life, they will be quick to answer, “The proper attitude.”  Your attitude is the composite of your thoughts, feelings, and actions, which in turn produce your results.

In my next blog post, I’ll explore seven steps that you can take to enjoy more success as a recruiter.
