Tips for Splits: Be PRO-ACTIVE in Finding Trading Partners

Welcome to our series about how you can experience more success as a Preferred Member of Top Echelon Network, specifically how you can make more split placements.

This week’s piece of advice comes from Alan Daum of Alan N. Daum & Associates, Inc., who advocates being pro-active when it comes to working with other Members of the Network.

According to Daum, he doesn’t waste any time when he receives a job order from one of his clients; he contacts other Top Echelon Network recruiters as soon as possible.

“I’ve got a couple of searches going on right now, and I’ve called anybody I thought could help me and asked for help.  Now they’re working those job orders for me.

“When times are good, I just post a job order [to the Network] and move on.  I don’t have time to do anything else with it.  Now I treat each job order like gold.  I think, ‘What can I do to fill this now?’  All the options are on the table.

“I’ll call somebody up and say, ‘Did you see that I posted so-and-so job?  I could use some help, if you can give me some.’  Job orders are not a dime a dozen anymore.  It really does take a different mindset and a different approach in order to make sure that you fill them.”

Oh, and Daum has one more thing to say . . .

“GO BUCKS!”

(Alan Daum of Alan N. Daum & Associates, Inc., started recruiting in 1976 and joined Top Echelon Network in 1999.  He is currently ranked in the top 10 in the Network as far as cash-in totals are concerned.)
