If you have a smartphone, and a poll we recently conducted suggests that many of you do, then you’ve probably downloaded apps for your smartphone.
That means you probably need to know what those apps are potentially doing with your phone—specifically, what the mobile ads located within those apps are doing.
Below are a couple of points that I took away from the article:
- The best thing to do is to read the reviews for every app you want to download. If a bunch of people have complained about the app, don’t download it.
- Bad apps are more prevalent on Android phones than on iPhones, but be vigilant no matter which phone you own.
