by | Jan 28, 2013 | Recruiter Training, Top Echelon Blog

Recruiters always want to know which jobs are hot—in other words, which job openings companies are currently looking to fill and will be looking to fill in the future.

This is especially the case when it comes to executive positions, which typically carry hefty salaries (and correspondingly hefty placement fees.)  With that in mind, global recruiting firm CTPartners recently released its 2013 Annual Hot Jobs Report, and it was filled with plenty of juicy tidbits.

First and foremost, CTPartners identified five “Big Ideas” that drove hiring last year and will continue to do so in 2013.  Those “Big Ideas” are listed below:

  1. Big Data
  2. Cloud Services
  3. Digital Technologies
  4. Risk and Recovery Strategies
  5. Healthcare Reform

Included in CTPartners’ Annual Hot Jobs Report was the “Top 20 Executive Hot Jobs for 2013,” broken down into three distinct areas—Technology, Financial Services, and Life Sciences/Healthcare.  The list of jobs is as follows:
